What kind of fish can I catch in the bayous?
Channel Blue and Flathead Catfish, Freshwater Drum, Nile Tilapia, Crappie, varieties of Carp including Grass, Common and Smallmouth Buffalo Carp, as well as several species of Gar including Spotted, Shortnose, Longnose and Monster Alligator Gar.
Which bayous are good for fishing?
Just about every bayou has fish, it just depends on what kind of fish you are targeting. We usually stick to Buffalo or Brays Bayous.
Do you eat the fish after cooking them?
No! We always catch and release. We do not condone eating any fish caught in Houston bayous.
